I bought these because I bought a black pair last year. I love the Blundstone boots for both comfort and fashion. A person who recommended them to me mentioned that while they take a bit of time to break in that they'll just keep getting better over time and that they'll be boots that last a lifetime. I have found that while they were a little tight on the heel and in the toe box at first, that they do break in. I've never gotten blisters or anything though. I'm extremely particular about comfort since I'm on my feet all day running up and down stairs and working in the field as well as in an office. These boots can go straight from the field into a meeting and look good while being comfortable.Love it! It was a gift for my husband.He loved it and fits great!I have two pairs of the Blundstone boots. One pair, these 1440 Cheleseas, for casual wear and another black square-toed dress pair. They have been my favorite footwear for years and, unlike most clothing items that try to claim the same, they are actually perfect for almost any occasion. I wear them to work in the yard, go out to dinner, wear to the office with business casual or even a suit, tramp through the rain and snow. Given their versatility, if you're looking for the perfect travel footwear, in particular, then Blundstones should be your first choice.Follow the sizing guidelines to convert Aussie to US sizing and they will fit perfectly. The color matches closely to the online pictures. And consider stepping up to the premium version over the originals in order to get sturdier stitching and a more comfortable fit through the tongue of the boot.I own two other pairs of these exact Blundstone boots in different colors. They were purchased as a men's 10 1/2 US and they were slightly tight. They did stretch slightly over time.I bought this pair in a men's size 11 as the 10 1/2 was unavailable and WHAT A DIFFERENCE. They fit perfectly upon first wearing and have become even more comfortable over time. I can wear these for hours and not experience ANY foot pain or burning after removing them. Order a 1/2 size up if in doubt. These are water-resistant, not waterproof and are definitely not winter boots. If it is your intent to use them in the winter invest in good, thick socks.These wear Brilliantly and are definitely worth the investment.I'm a US 6.5 and got the size 4 AU in redwood. My foot is small but flat and my toes are wide. Like Keens and Clarks, these do not pinch my toes like most shoes. They were pretty roomy all around until I used the extra inserts. I also tried them with my custom orthotics and they fit OK. I'm going to play around with the combinations of inserts and see how they work out. Hope they don't stretch too much. Perhaps a 3.5 would have fit better, but this is what you get when you buy shoes online. The color is a tiny bit darker than your typical oxblood.Good looking boot and I can detect no flaws in construction There is little or no arch support. Comes with an extra insert. I did have trouble getting it on the first time. Its too new to properly rate as to durability etcThe available sizes listed above are a little mixed up. I’ve worn Blundstones for years and know exactly what size I need, AU6.5. Looking at the size options above, I selected the W6.5/M6.5 option assuming this was the AU size because in American shoe sizes the mens snd womens could not be the same #. What I received was W6.5/M4.5 (AU 3.5)! Scrolling through the sizes available, I see that in some larger sizes they got it sorted and listed correctly, but beware in the lower sizes they are not listed correctly. I will have to return and reorder the W9.5/M7.5 (AU6.5)My kids all have them (total pair in my family.....about 7 pairs). They encouraged dear old Dad to get some. Sure glad I did. Love the look, the water-resistance, the arch support, the ease of on/off, and quality.This is my 2nd pair, both bought through Amazon for a great price.I wear them all the time, dog walking, for work, every day. I do a fair bit of walking across fields, public footpaths etc. so they aren't 100% desk bound by any means. I'm seeing 4 years + out of my first pair and that's very good indeed, nearly double compared to Merrel or Karimor which I'm also a fan of. Good boots, very practical easy on & off with the double pull tags . I really rate them, apparently there are other Australian boots of a similar design that are allegedly even better made, maybe in another 4 years I'll try those too, in the meantime colour me impressed with Blundstone so why change?I usually buy my shoes from Cheaney, but I don't like their boots as the seem runs directly up my heel. These boots have a padded point of contact up the heel, with the seem running either side, which is surprisingly hard to find. They are a great pair of boots, lovely colour.Really well made boots but oversized and ridiculously bulky looking.
